How are classes conducted?

How can we contact you and find out more information?

It will vary based on the class (in-person or online). Both classes will focus on developing improv skills and incorporating character development in scenes and monologues. For Zoom classes, the breakout rooms will be utilized to ensure individualized instruction where students can engage in adapted theater games.  If you would like to see a glance of what virtual classes look like, visit our "Blog" with recaps of our summer session or follow our Facebook page

Don't hesitate to reach out to us at ACTivateimagination@gmail.com with any questions or concerns. We'd love to hear from you! In addition, enrolled participants will automatically be sent more detailed class information regarding location and forms. Make sure to follow our Facebook page, where you can find class updates, information on enrollment, and get notified about our latest news.

Where does my money go?

We are a small organization, so 100% of our profits are donated to a Black Lives Matter organization. We chose to donate all of our profits to The Black Theater Coalition because of the connection we had to their mission statement. This nonprofit's goal is to increase representation within the Theater World. Check out our homepage for more information on this nonprofit. We greatly appreciate any contributions you're able to make.

What is your Covid-19 Response?

Our safety precautions and policy follow the CDC government policies in place for childcare to ensure the safety of our students. All in-person classes are conducted outside but will be moved online in case of bad weather. Masks will be worn at all times, with students separated 6 feet apart. Any and all props, or equipment will be sanitized before and after use, while hand sanitizer will also be provided.

How do I get involved if I want to join AIN?

Since ACTivate Imagination Now is a nonprofit, we rely entirely on the generosity of our volunteers. We'd love to have new members on the team as there is a recurring need for volunteer instructors and higher positions. You can click below to apply and we will get in touch with you ASAP.

How much does it cost and how do I pay?

The enrollment fee covers the whole 5-week session for one child and varies depending on the class you enroll in. The in-person class costs $100 per child and the virtual class costs $65 per child. We accept Venmo, checks, or cash for payment. You will also be sent more information on the payment instructions once you're enrolled. Scholarships are also available if needed; please contact us for more information.
